Claraia Beds from QZ480

These bivalves which is previously thought as Daonella, now identified as Claraia. They are two species occur here i.e. Claraia stachei and C. kilenensis, both typical for Induan, Lower Triassic. It is interesting to know that the rock sequence in QZ480 yields Triassic fossils range from Lower (Induan) to Middle Triassic (Anisian).
